Mixed Fortunes For Dutch Brothers In Winnipeg

Dutch brothers Niels Hoevenaars and Tom Hoevenaars suffered mixed fortunes in the qualifying finals of the Bieber Securities Fall Classic in Winnipeg, Canada.

Niels went down 11-10 (2-0), 11-9, 11-9 to Mexico's Jorge Isaac Baltazar Ferreira, runner-up in last week's Saskatoon Open in Saskatchewan.

Tom fared better against another Mexican, beating Sergio Lopez 11-5, 11-6, 11-4 to earn a first round match against second-seeded Canadian Robin Clarke.

Clarke is expected to face top seed Jan Koukal, from the Czech Republic, in Sunday's final.
