Lee Foils Fuchs In Salzburg Qualifiers

England's Joe Lee dashed local hopes of a third player in the main draw of the Salzburg Open when he beat Andreas Fuchs in four games in the qualifying finals of the PSA Tour event in the Austrian city of Salzburg.

Lee's 9-11, 11-6, 11-9, 11-7 defeat of the 28-year-old from Vienna takes him through to the first round - where he will face a further Austrian, fourth seed Aqeel Rehman.

Ireland's John Rooney also made it through the qualifiers after beating England's Tom Pashley 11-2, 11-2, 11-5. His reward is an all-Irish clash with top seed Arthur Gaskin.
